This article is a Chicken Little "the sky is falling"
bullshit attempt to act like Obama is personally responsible for every single
thing that happens, whether or not it does, or only looks like it does, painted
with the wide brush-strokes of sell-out, self-interested sources. Americans watch
as the media is raping the minds of the public with fallacy, grotesque misinformation,
hate-mongering and bloody finger-pointing at the President.
Hunkering down in the not-too-distant past are stories about
George W. Bush's many abuses of power and irresponsibility to Presidential
duties as if his crimes were cute
little Walt Disney stories, despite the number of deaths caused by his lying,
yet convenient, weapons of mass destruction myths. Media still sweeps under the
rug the wide range of contradictory information regarding the 9/11 events, the
records including W reading his cute little goat story without seeming like he
really understood what was going on. Georgie didn't understand global
warming/climate change so, of course, it
was not real during the Bush regime, coincidentally benefitting big
business and industry while bruising or gutting responsible regulations.
The Patriot Act stomped on more Constitutional rights than
can be clearly even understood in one or more sittings based on the continued unfolding of its
devastating impacts. The “Did You Know” list is one to weep over at many
levels. Not so incredibly, the No Child Left Behind swept more children into
the cracks of ignorance and invisibility in the educational process than can
ever be said to have happened in this country before.
If we are going to talk about REAL news, we have to quit
playing "outta sight outta mind" with GWB (and Anti-Christ candidate
DICK Chaney). American’s attention span is bending and flexing like the heaves
of mental vomiting in a state of overwhelm from the distractions generated by
our bought-and-paid for sell-out conserve news sources. Objectivity would at least recognize huge progress Barack
Obama’s administration has made right-up-to the point of GOP filibusters, Koch
Brothers’ glutted hoard of ill-gotten –gain and wicked gold rivers being poured
into demonizing this administration.
The continued poison of racial hating, gay hating, woman
hating, immigrant America hating, and Barack Obama hating is like a shadow
creeping out of hell to infect people’s thinking and is being fanned back into
huge flames confusion, fear and sprouts out of historical seeds of WASP
superiority through capitalist schism of resource concentration among the few…the
1%!
One of the REAL problems of freedom of speech rights is the
REAL abuse of it by self-interested media kingdoms and moguls who try to buy up
news sources to twist out an endless stream of corrupt ideas, slanted
reporting, and to stomp, pervert and overrun anything to the contrary of their
dark and twisted designs. (Koch Brothers, Rush Limbaugh, FOX News…)
You can fool some of the people some of the time, even many
people many times, but the truth is still buried in the muck of partisan
politics, the voracious appetite of exploitive capitalism, and social-stratifications
that were also (unfortunately) built into America’s darkest tapestries a long
time ago.
